Term 1 Reflections

I am finding intermediate challenging at some stages. I like the idea of Friday sport, inter-class and inter house sport, and I am really surprised that Waikato house is winning at the moment. I have settled in really well although I just need to keep up with my work and keep listening to the notices and taking responsibility myself. It was cool how the Makuhari students came to our school for a week and shared information about themselves and did a dance for us. I have enjoyed tech arts so far and I am getting to know more teachers and kids. Its good how all the teachers try challenge you to do as much stuff as you can and push you to your full potential. I like all of the opportunities there is such as sporting opportunities, music and academic. I am trying to contribute in a lot of things this year and next year.

Camp In Wellington

I enjoyed all of the places but my favorite places were H20 Extreme, snorkeling and weta workshop. My favorite part about weta workshop was looking at all the guns and holding the Tommy gun off king Kong and the gun off district 9. I liked the snorkeling because I got to see heaps of fish I have never seen before, but it was really freezing in the water. H20 Extreme was really fun because it was a wave pool and we had a lot of people going down the water slide at once. I liked meeting Andrew Little at parliament. I liked the actual camp ground because the jumping mat and the tramp was really cool and bouncy. At the zoo I found it funny how the monkeys smashed the nuts on hard objects to open them and then eat them. I found out that I am not really good at interviewing people as I found that out at ONTV
